I like liked the friendly staff first and foremost - Valerie ( Head Receptionist ) was excellent and helpful throughout and spoke excellent English alongside the Owner ( Mielon I think ) who was also very helpful and friendly, both with lovely smiles - made all the difference to our stay. Also Oliver who cleaned the rooms - spoke good English and a nice man - along with the other chamber-maid. Our room no 34 - looked down on a lovely garden terrace - with plenty of seating are - so when the sun's out - its a beautiful setting.. The breakfast and breakfast room was also nice - but you could also eat out on the terrace too.. The hotel was perfect for a short stay - in an ideal location only 100 metres from several bars and resturants. There was also an excellent gourment supermarket opposite the Hotel - which came in very handy..

The position of the hotel was ideal. I walked from the station. I could walk into town where there were cafes and restaurants, and the river was also a walk away. I had breakfast one morning which had a good selection, and as the weather was good I ate outside. The staff were very accommodating. I was able to leave my bag at the hotel when arriving and after I had booked out.

Superb value for money, staff were all super friendly and helpful, and rooms and facilities were all clean. Brilliant location too, just a few minutes walk from restaurants and bars.

This was our second time in this Hotel. Like last year, we very much appreciated the calm of the hotel. We arrived just before the reception closed and the staff was kind enough to explain everything they already send me in a message as well as showing us to our room. On this visit, we even had the time to get breakfast and it was just lovely! We’re looking forward to coming back here!

It was a very beautiful cosy hotel with a nice courtyard area with tables and chairs to relax, and the surrounding building consisted of the rooms. The room was small (but like most hotels) but very clean and well-maintained. The location was also very central in the city centre with access to most things that you need. We arrived very late, so all the instructions to get into the room was communicated to us and all went smoothly.

Made very welcome on arrival and the hosts were very helpful. We arrived in the rain on our bikes and as our rooms were ready they were happy to check us in early and help us to store our bikes. The accommodation was small but nicely decorated and spotlessly clean and met our needs. The location was ideal for the centre or the cognac houses. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection.

This hotel is situated centrally within Cognac making it easy to visit the attractions on foot. The breakfasts were good and our room whilst not large had everything we needed to enjoy a couple of nights there. All the Cognac houses seem to do visitor tours with sampling which is a nice way to spend a couple of hours. Cognac itself is a charming town with some very nice quaint streets to wander in and a good quantity of cafes and bars are available.

A very nice hotel with a lovely courtyard not far from the centre of Cognac. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was very small. It was quiet no noise from outside. The courtyard was lovely. Breakfast was ok

The room was excellent with a pleasant view of the back garden. The wifi was good and allowed us to check emails and listen to Radio Caroline on their internet broadcasts. Free parking was available in the public car park just down the road beyond the post office.
